I am not going too screech for impeachment on Sept.1 like many sites will be doing. Not that I wouldn’t approve of it, just that I don’t see it happening, so I’m going to carry on with my usual carrying on. But I love you all for trying, and I thank you for trying.
Impeachment wouldn’t get rid of the idiot anyway, I respectfully suggest that you drill the son of a bitch into the ground with an airplane, yup, I think that might do it. :-) BBC

Twenty years apart, you were born solstice to my spring equinox (March 9, 1963). I appreciate your assessment of your parents more than you know, unless you are familiar with the Worldwide Church of God, and the Armstrongs, Herbert W. and Garner Ted. The folks converted to this nonsense just as I was entering first grade...
Long hairy story, but the nice news is that Mama, while still fairly fundamental in her Christianity, is still incredibly progressive in her world view. She calls it common sense.

You strike me as a person, like myself, that has kind of learned the hard way that one can be spiritual without being dogmatic. I especially appreciate your view of Mrs. God's Country; to quote Toddy from Victor Victoria, you just said a cotton-pickin' mouthful.
Bear with me in the future if you catch me ranting...I'm okay with getting crankier as I get older, but I was raised in Arkansas, taught to call everybody Ma'am and Sir, and learned early one must smile always. I kid my Mom that I have a blog so I won't bore her with my politics; Mom said that's nice. What's a blog?
Someone called in to Air America radio today who's trying to get a project started...until we are rid of Bush, every time we vote we should dye our finger purple like the Iraqis. I think it's a fine idea...except I don't think I'll choose my index finger to go after with a felt pen. It would be the digit next door...
Well I think I can be cranky too some days, if it's alright. Being a Mom, I like to think I have some license. :)
